The hot water was lukewarm. It never really heated up. The quilt had significant stains. A dirty quilt cover hid this. Other guests made noise. This disturbed my sleep

The room lacked a wardrobe, it just had a shelf and hangers underneath.

The staff were friendly and informative (always a plus!). The room was spacious and clean. The hotel is conveniently located about 5-7 minutes away from the beach. The bed was very comfortable. I slept soundly each night.

There is a pub 10 yards away, offering reasonably priced meals with an excellent choice. A lovely breakfast can be found at the promenade cafe down the road. I found plenty of options nearby to satisfy my cravings.

The room was really clean! linen was changed mid-trip. Clean towels arrived every other day and there was daily housekeeping. the bed was huge and very comfortable. the room decor was nice plus the carpet felt new underfoot.
